Three years ago Stephen and Regina started a blog in which they shared their lives with the Swedish public. At that time, Stephen and Regina participated in SCCs project, Kilungu Youth Group, where they learned how to grow crops more efficiently and at the same time increase their income.

26/7: Joint Annual Rural Finance Thematic Workshop 22 - 24 September 2010
The annual Joint Rural Finance Thematic workshop for the year 2010 jointly organized by International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Regional Office for Africa, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) supported Knowledge Management Programme (KMP), and the Swedish Co-operative Centre & Vi-Agroforestry (SCC-Vi), Regional Offices in Eastern and Southern Africa. The workshop will take place 22-24 September 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel Lusaka, Zambia.

Vi Agriforestry also has a project in Kisumu,  a port city in western Kenya, with a population of 322,724 (1999 census). It is the third largest city in Kenya, the principal city of western Kenya and the capital of Nyanza Province. Kisumu literally means a place of barter trade "sumo". The project area covers parts of Kisumu, Nyando and Rachuonyo district in Nyanza province. Extension officers are  in Nyando, Nyakach and Muhoroni divisions in Nyando, and in Kadibo, and Kabondo in Kisumu and Rachuonyo districts respectively.
