To meet its vision of a World Free from poverty and injustice SCC in Tanzania seeks to influence upon local communities to develop a vital, ecological and sustainable civil society characterized by justice, democracy, gender equality, economic development and growth. This is done through collaboration with our partner organisations.

Tanzania Association of Foresters (TAF)
Tanzania Association of Foresters (TAF) is a professional non-governmental and non-profit organization, formed in 1976, with the motto “Forest forever”. It consists of thirty three representatives of foresters from all over the country working to improve and sustain the foresters professional ethics. The main objectives of the association are, to foster public interest in forestry, to form a forum for all engaged in forestry, to advance and promote the forestry profession and all aspects of forestry, to disseminate information relating to forestry to the nation and other forestry related institutions and to co-operate and liaise with other organizations in matters of mutual interest.

 

Mtandao wa Vikundi vya Wakulima wa Wilaya ya Monduli (MVIWAMO)
MVIWAMO is a network of farmers groups in Monduli District in Northern Tanzania, and a part of the national Tanzanian farmers organization MVIWATA. The organization works to mobilize, build and strengthen a network of farmer groups in order to enhance communication, participation and representation through programs and activities that improve livelihood of small scale farmers.
