Joint Annual Rural Finance Thematic Workshop 22 - 24 September 2010

The annual Joint Rural Finance Thematic workshop for the year 2010 jointly organized by International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Regional Office for Africa, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) supported Knowledge Management Programme (KMP), and the Swedish Co-operative Centre & Vi-Agroforestry (SCC-Vi), Regional Offices in Eastern and Southern Africa. The workshop will take place 22-24 September 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel Lusaka, Zambia.

 

The theme “ Rural finance best practices along value chains - Case for East and Southern Africa”.

 

Please note that as always there is a conference participation fee contribution of USD100. This contribution will be used to co-finance the workshop costs mainly networking dinner and refreshments cost, transport as well as secretarial support. The participants are expected to finance their travel cost, accommodation, meals and other incidentals from project funds. The Co-host will meet the rest of the workshop cost including venue, simultaneous translation, call for papers, and facilitation cost. For those submitting workshop papers, kindly refer to the attached guide for papers and presentations.
