Anneli Rogeman, who is currently the CEO and Editor in Chief of the magazine Tidningen Vi, has been appointed as the new CEO of the Swedish non-governmental organisations, the Swedish Cooperative Centre and the Vi Agroforestry. She will assume the post on 1 January 2011.

What is microinsurance and how does it work? In this blog you can read about how microinsurance can help fight poverty.

 

Microinsurances has led a rather anonymous existence in the development cooperation world. Having worked with microinsurances in East Africa since 2007, the Swedish Cooperation Centre hopes to make this subject accessible to a wider public. With the blog, managed by Financial Services Programme Officer Therese Sandmark, who works for SCC in East Africa, we want to explain what it is, how it works and why it is important, through experience sharing and life stories.
